Ryan Cassin is the CEO of Beast Digital.

Ryan is a digital and political strategist at the intersection of business, politics and technology, and the recipient of a 2014 Campaigns & Elections “Rising Star” award. Cassin has established a reputation for creative solutions and innovative ideas that deliver results, representing corporations, non-profits, universities, and political campaigns from state House and Senate caucuses to multimillion-dollar statewide and presidential races. Before discovering politics, Cassin began his career at age 14 as a sought-after programmer and the youngest credited developer of the Firefox web browser.

Cassin’s unique background makes him a perfect fit for forward-looking candidates and organizations that want to use the Internet to build stronger connections with donors, activists, opinion leaders, and voters. He carefully crafts integrated web, email, and social media campaigns that enhance a team’s messaging, build coalitions, and create new communities of donors and supporters.

In 2010, Cassin managed Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle’s reelection campaign in Georgia, where the campaign was widely recognized for its integrated new media efforts and voter contact strategy. He also worked in the 2010 cycle for newly-elected Georgia Governor Nathan Deal, creating a platform that fueled the campaign’s grassroots and field programs.

As Political Director of U.S. Senator Jim Inhofe’s reelection campaign, Cassin grew the campaign’s email list from 6,000 to over 175,000 opt-in members. This list of supporters from over 13,000 zip codes across the country raised then record-sums for an online U.S. Senate campaign.

Cassin has developed custom software platforms empowering volunteers and field office staff to deploy targeted voter contact programs. The platform has helped campaigns save money, increase efficiency and effectiveness, and introduce new levels of metrics to grassroots programs.

A pioneer in political mobile application development, Cassin also designed and deployed an iPhone-based field program in the 2010 cycle revolutionizing how Republican campaigns and field staff connect with targeted voters in grassroots operations.

In addition to serving as an Advisory Board Member of CQ-Roll Call’s Connectivity, Ryan Cassin is a frequent speaker at campaign schools on new media strategy and technology. He currently resides in Dallas, Texas with his wife, Carissa.
